"A PERSON THAT SAVED AT LEAST ONE LIFE WAS NOT BORN FOR NOTHING"

THE IDEA OF TEAM BUILDING

Although humans are meant to be with others, we very often tend to think that we are more efficient working on our own. But the truth is, we are not. Any big creation in the world required team work. It has always been like that.

On the other hand, only if we accumulate all the individual potentials of all group members we have huge chances to succeed.

If we add team’s maximum determination to that, our chances to succeed will turn into certainty.

The best example of that is search and rescue. Nothing requires cooperation as much as search and rescue, and especially mountain search and rescue. During a rescue operation nothing can be partly done or pretended. This fight with destiny, often in awful weather and in real danger, has the most valuable thing at stake – people’s life.

Every action carried out without precision is immediately and mercilessly verified, often with dire consequences... All that does not mean that an individual is unimportant. Not at all!

It is extremely important for all team members to understand that they are elements of a precise machinery – a team. Each of them is an important and necessary element, but one of many.

It is also worth remembering that every chain is as strong as is its weakest link.

In a well organised team there are no links which are more or less important. Everyone is equally essential, and if not, he or she should not have become part of the team in the first place.
